Snowfall warning issued for Coquihalla Highway

VANCOUVER — Motorists travelling the Coquihalla Highway could be facing heavy snow through Monday evening.

Environment Canada has issued a Snowfall Warning for the region between Hope and Merritt.

The heavy snow is expected to begin Sunday evening and continue, off and on, until early Tuesday morning when snow will taper off.

Snowfall accumulations could reach up to 25 cm during the period of the weather warning.
