Chilliwack-area realtors holding 28th annual Realtors Care Blanket Drive Nov. 14-19
CHILLIWACK — As the temperatures drop and cold weather lingers for the next 3-4 months, Chilliwack-area realtors have the most vulnerable on their minds as they plan their annual blanket and clothing drive in mid-November.
The Chilliwack and District Real Estate Board will hold their 28th annual Realtors Care Blanket Drive starting Monday, November 14 through Saturday, November 19.
Agassiz residents can drop off new or gently used blankets, sleeping bags, coats, warm clothing, as well as new socks and new underwear at Re/Max, 7098 Pioneer Avenue, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. from Monday, Nov. 14 through Saturday, Nov. 19. The Agassiz location also welcomes non-perishable food items for Agassiz-Harrison Community Services.
Hope residents can drop off those same items on Saturday, Nov. 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Northwest Harvest Church, 888 3rd Ave., in Hope. The Hope location also welcomes non-perishable food items.
