CHILLIWACK — Drivers heading to and from Chilliwack Lake will be slowed by daytime lane closures as crews carry out remediation work near the Tamihi Bridge.
The Ministry of Transportation and Transit says the work to repair and prevent further erosion around the bridge on Chilliwack Lake Road will begin on Wednesday (July 29).
Work crews are scheduled on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., between July 29 and Aug. 17. Single-lane alternating traffic will be in place across the bridge as needed during working hours.
Traffic controllers will be in place on both sides of the bridge to manage traffic flow.
