Pedestrian dies in Maple Ridge after being hit by car Thursday morning: RCMP
MAPLE RIDGE – Details are limited this early in the investigation, but Mounties have confirmed the death of a male pedestrian after he was struck by a car early Thursday morning in the 26000 block of Lougheed Highway.
According to a statement from police, Maple Ridge RCMP were advised of a pedestrian struck at the 26000 block of Lougheed Highway at approximately 5:45 a.m. Thursday (Apr. 23).
RCMP members immediately responded to the area and learned that a male pedestrian had been struck by a motor vehicle while trying to corral his dogs.
Police have confirmed that the male has succumbed to his injuries.
