Police investigate multiple fires in Coquitlam neighbourhood

COQUITLAM — Coquitlam RCMP are on the lookout for more information after reports of suspicious fires in the Maillardville neighbourhood last week.

On September 27 and 29, from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m., officers responded to two fires near Hammond Avenue and Therrien Street, Laval Square and Cartier Avenue, and Nelson Street and Walls Avenue.

Fire crews and police then responded to a third fire on September 30, at around 10:40 p.m., in the 1100 block of Hachey Avenue.

There were no injuries at any of the events.
