CBSA self-service kiosks outage causing delays at customs in some airports
Canada Border Services Agency says its primary inspection kiosks are experiencing a service outage impacting some airports.
The agency says in a social media post Sunday evening that they’re in the process of fixing the issue.
One customer on a WestJet flight took to social media, saying they were sitting on one of the airline’s planes for over an hour after landing at Toronto Pearson International Airport.
WestJet replied to the customer, saying that due to the CBSA system outage, customs at Toronto are at full capacity and the airport has paused deplaning until space is available.
