CHILLIWACK — A B.C.-grown music troupe is bringing Tuscany and Rome to Chilliwack next month with an afternoon performance at the Cultural Centre.
At 2 p.m. on September 14, the Vancouver Cello Quartet will perform “A Taste of Italy”– a blend of contemporary and classical arrangements spanning centuries of Italian composition.
“From the fiery drama of Verdi to the lyrical beauty of Puccini, and from baroque elegance to cinematic charm, A Taste of Italy captures the spirit of Italy in every note,” wrote the Chilliwack Cultural Centre.
“With virtuosic precision and heartfelt artistry, the Vancouver Cello Quartet delivers an experience that is both intimate and grand, appealing to lovers of classical music and curious newcomers alike.”
