Abbotsford Police investigating home invasion on Fraser Highway

ABBOTSFORD — Abbotsford Police are investigating a heinous home invasion that happened earlier this week.

Abby PD announced Tuesday afternoon that it is investigating what appears to be a targeted home invasion that happened in the 27000 block of Fraser Highway.

Police received a call at 1:33 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 18 that a home invasion had occurred in which three male suspects had shown weapons and forced their way into a home, threatening family members inside. The males then fled prior to police being called.

Multiple Abby PD officers, the Integrated Police Dog Service and the Forensic Identification Unit attended the residence. Thankfully, no family members were harmed, but they were incredibly shaken by this incident, according to Constable Jody Thomas, media relations officer for Abby PD.
