Police looking to ID persons of interest in connection with playground arson
LOWER MAINLAND — Mounties with the Ridge Meadows Detachment are looking to identify three individuals in connection with a playground structure fire in late January.
According to a statement from Constable Tisha Parsons, Maple Ridge Fire Department crews responded to a playground structure fire on January 29 at approximately 7:53 p.m. The playground fire incurred significant damage estimated at approximately $70,000.
The Ridge Meadows RCMP are investigating an arson that occurred on January 29, 2025 in the 21100 block of 123rd Ave, Maple Ridge.
Mounties from Ridge Meadows RCMP were notified and started investigating. CCTV imagery was located which shows three people exit a black two door vehicle with a sunroof. Police are hoping to identify this vehicle and its three occupants.
