Outage leaves nearly 1,300 Popkum and Rosedale customers without power Wednesday

POPKUM — Nearly 1,300 customers in Rosedale and Popkum are without power due to an outage Wednesday afternoon.
According to BC Hydro’s online dashboard, 1,288 customers west of Yale Road, south of Agassiz, west of Cheam First Nation and northeast of Annis Road lost power at 1:28 p.m.
The cause of the outage is under investigation.
Crews are on scene. Power is expected back on by 3:45 p.m.
