Over 1,500 customers without power in Lake Errock, Highway 7 corridor Tuesday morning

LAKE ERROCK/DEROCHE — BC Hydro says over 1,500 customers in Lake Errock, Deroche and the Highway 7 corridor are without power Tuesday morning.

According to the BC Hydro online dashboard, 1,530 customers in west Harrison Mills, Lake Errock, Deroche and Dewdney lost power at 9:47 a.m. for an unspecified reason. The cause is under investigation.

Crews have been assigned and are expected to arrive by approximately 11 a.m.

There is one smaller power outage in Chilliwack Tuesday morning, but that involves planned work by BC Hydro in Sardis Park.
