Former Truth and Reconciliation Commission chair honoured at Fraser Valley university
MISSION — The life of former senator, judge and TRC chair Murray Sinclair has been honoured at the University of the Fraser Valley’s (UFV) newly renovated Mission campus on Wednesday (Feb. 5).
Sinclair, also known as Mazina Giizhik, was instrumental in creating the 94 Calls to Action, a roadmap that continues to guide organizational policies on the consequences of residential schools in the country.
