Langley police, fire department respond to incident at supportive housing facility
LANGLEY — A Langley resident was taken to hospital for minor injuries after a fire at the Creekstone building this Friday afternoon (Feb. 7).
The Township of Langley Fire Department confirms they responded to a call about an upgraded structure fire at 12:25 p.m.
Six firetrucks were on the scene, bringing in a crew of about 20 people. Two RCMP officers were also called to assist with resident evacuation and safety.
Fire Deputy Chief Cory Parker told Fraser Valley Today there was fire damage to one building unit and water damage to roughly four or five other units.
