Abbotsford youths arrested following incidents with BB guns

ABBOTSFORD — Two separate weapons incidents involving youths threatening people with guns prompted an urgent response from Abbotsford police Friday (Jan. 11) night.

AbbyPD frontline officers treated the calls as a top priority, responding to both incidents. In each case, the youths involved were arrested, and police have confirmed that charges are being recommended.

Although the guns turned out to be BB guns, police noted they closely resembled real firearms, adding an extra level of danger to the situations.
