Mudslide blocks Sea to Sky Highway

SQUAMISH — A mudslide has cut off the highway linking West Vancouver and the lower mainland to Squamish and Whistler.
According to RCMP, a landslide swept across Highway 99 Saturday. The slide occurred near the Brunswick Road exit ramp, closing the highway in both directions. There are no detours immediately available.
RCMP says emergency crews are on the scene, trying to confirm property damage and to determine if there have been injuries. There were no initial reports of injuries.
