CHILLIWACK — The Chilliwack Chiefs are making personnel changes and additions that they are confident will bolster their organization on a number of key fronts.

The Chilliwack Chiefs announced Friday evening (Aug. 26) that Jarrett Craig will be joining the organization as the team’s new video coordinator.

Craig has extensive experience in the game, having coached many years with the Abbotsford Pilots, the Yale Hockey Academy, and as the Head Coach of the University of the Fraser Valley. Craig’s duties will be geared towards assisting the coaching staff with video preparation and in-game video analysis throughout the season.

“We are really excited to add Jarrett to our staff,” said Brad Rihela, Chiefs associate coach and assistant general manager. “Jarrett and I are close friends who worked together at the Yale Hockey Academy so I know his knowledge of the game, enthusiasm, and attention to detail will be a great asset to our coaching staff as well as our players.”

Jarrett says that he is extremely excited to be involved with the Chiefs organization.

“Thank you to Brian, Brad, and the Chief’s organization for the opportunity to work with such a storied and successful franchise. It’s an honour to be selected for this role, and I look forward to getting the season started and helping this group of athletes find success on the ice,” he said.

Jarrett will begin his duties with the team in the BCHL pre-season, which is slated to begin Wednesday, October 7 against the Merritt Centennials.
