Police search for 80-year-old who went missing on Halloween in Abbotsford

ABBOTSFORD – Police are seeking assistance from the community in Abbotsford after an 80-year-old man went missing on Thursday night.

An Abbotsford police spokesperson said the man, known as “Ralph,” was last seen around 10 p.m. in the 33100 block of Marshall Road.

“Ralph was not dressed for the weather conditions, and it is believed that he is on foot,” Const. Jody Thomas explained.

“Family members are extremely concerned, explaining that Ralph suffers from dementia and that he can travel long distances walking.”

The missing man is approximately 6 feet tall, with a slim build and reddish-grey hair.
