CHILLIWACK — A vehicle struck the brick wall outside Chilliwack General Hospital Monday night, leaving the building with minimal damage not far from the hospital’s ambulance bays.

According to Chilliwack RCMP spokesperson Corporal Teresa Parsons, frontline RCMP members attended Monday evening after a vehicle struck the hospital.

“I found a file in which frontline members did attend,” Cpl. Parsons said. “It’s indicated there were no injuries and minor damage to the building. There was no indication of any criminal act which caused the collision.”

The vehicle, which appeared to resemble a Honda CRV or Pilot SUV, struck an area of the hospital where the IV therapy unit for outpatient care is stationed.
