Valley Huskers score 28 points in 4th quarter, triumph in offensive slugfest
KAMLOOPS — With quarterback Tyran Duval back in the saddle, the Valley Huskers put on a remarkable show of offence over the weekend to win a crucial game on the road.
Duval completed 20 passes for 368 yards and four touchdowns, and running backs Jawad Harb and Grady Andrea each scored touchdowns, as the Huskers used a 28-point fourth quarter to capture its fourth victory of the year in a 53-36 win Sunday in Kamloops.
Kamloops (1-6) actually led by a point entering the fourth quarter before the Huskers recorded four scores to overcome the late-game deficit.
The Huskers (4-3) had 476 yards of total offence. Duval fielded every snap in the win, finding Colby Johnson for two touchdowns, Payton Lake and Steven Koniuck for TD receptions apiece.
