LANGLEY — Langley RCMP have arrested and charged a man following an alleged bank robbery on July 4. The incident occurred at approximately 3:30 p.m. at a financial institution located in the 6100 Block of 200 Street.

Witnesses reported that the suspect, 26-year-old Langley resident Tyler Jacob Goodine, pushed past bank tellers and stole money from the counters before fleeing the scene on foot.

“Langley RCMP Frontline officers responded and with the use of video surveillance systems, were able to obtain a clear description of the suspect,” said Cpl. Zynal Sharoom of the Langley RCMP. “The suspect was then located at Fraser Hwy and Langley Bypass, however, he fled into a nearby mall.”
