WEST KELOWNA — Parker Murray’s goal at 6:31 of overtime lifted the Chilliwack Chiefs to a 3-2 victory in West Kelowna Saturday night.

Newcomer Willyam Gendron scored his first goal since being traded to the Chiefs in the first period. Nathan Morin’s goal midway through the third period tied the game and set up overtime.

Austin McNicholas was sharp in the Chiefs net, blocking 22 of 25 West Kelowna shots while the Chiefs fired 31 shots at the Warriors net.

The win gave the Chiefs four out of a possible four points in their two-game Okanagan road trip after defeating Penticton 3 – 1 Friday night.
