CHILLIWACK — Chilliwack residents are invited to enjoy two more free Saturday swims before the summer ends.
As part of the city’s 150th anniversary, there will be free swimming this Saturday, August 19 and the following Saturday, August 26 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Outdoor Rotary Pool, 46245 Reece Avenue.
The City of Chilliwack has more events planned to celebrate its 150th anniversary this fall, including four free skates Saturday and Sunday, September 16-17, and Saturday and Sunday, October 21-22, at the Sardis Sports Complex and Chilliwack Coliseum.
Later this year, the community is invited to join the city for an evening with food trucks and fireworks on Saturday, November 18 at 7 p.m. at Townsend Park.
