Chilliwack Fire responds to vehicle crash on Vedder Rd. that injures two kids

CHILLIWACK — Chilliwack Fire and B.C. Emergency Health Services have responded to a high-velocity motor vehicle incident at the roundabout at Vedder Road and Chilliwack Lake Road Saturday morning on Canada Day.

According to scanner traffic around 9:45 a.m., there were two children injured in a vehicle that crashed. One of the two children, a young girl, suffered cuts to her leg and a sore back, while a young boy in the front seat of the vehicle suffered a sore back and a suspected concussion including vomiting.

Multiple Chilliwack Fire Department units responded.

Two ambulances from BCEHS have transported two, possibly three, patients to hospital, according to scanner traffic.
