Search continues for woman missing since 2017: Langley RCMP

LANGLEY — Police in Langley are renewing a plea for help in finding a woman who has been missing for nine years.

RCMP say Kristina Ward was reported missing on September 25, 2017, and was last seen on surveillance footage at 144th Street and 104th Avenue in Surrey two days later.

Officers joined Kristina’s parents as they walked from 140th to 144th Street along 104th Avenue on Thursday morning (Sept. 24).

“Kristina matters. We, the family, need closure and to bring our daughter home,” said Art Ward, Kristina’s father. “Hope will always remain, but the silence is the unspoken pain we live with every day.”
