B.C. police watchdog investigating motor vehicle incident that left one man injured in Maple Ridge
MAPLE RIDGE — The Independent Investigations Office of BC (IIO) is now seeking witnesses to an incident that left one e-motorcycle rider injured this past weekend.
Maple Ridge RCMP told the agency that the incident took place at around 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, August 30, when officers tried to pull over the e-motorcycle near the intersection of 122 Avenue and 232 Street.
This then led to “an interaction” with police that injured the rider.
The IIO has since been notified.
