A landing zone was set up at Cultus Lake Community School. An air ambulance landed there this morning.

BC Emergency Health Services Public Information Officer Brian Twaites released a statement about today’s incident to Fraser Valley Today.

“BC Emergency Health Services received a call at 11:01 a.m. on August 25, 2026, about a person requiring medical assistance in the 3400 block of Columbia Valley Road in Cultus Lake,” Twaites told Fraser Valley Today. “One ambulance with primary care paramedics, an ambulance with advanced care paramedics and a paramedic supervisor attended the scene. An air ambulance with critical care paramedics was also staged. Paramedics provided emergency medical care and transported one patient to hospital by air ambulance in serious condition.”
