**UPDATE: Crystal Stewart, Jayden’s mom, advised Fraser Valley Today at 8:38 p.m. on Friday night (Feb. 3) that Jayden has been found and is home safe. “I can’t wait to sleep tonight knowing he’s home safe,” Crystal said in a Facebook message Friday night. **

CHILLIWACK — Chilliwack RCMP have received a report of a missing Chilliwack teenager who was last seen on Thursday evening, February 2.

Jayden Stewart, 14 years old, is described as 5’7″ tall, 140 pounds, with dark hair. He was last seen at 6 p.m. Thursday night.

His mom, Crystal Stewart, says Jayden was last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants, black shoes and a black shirt with purple writing on it.

She says Jayden may have been heading to the Walmart area of Chilliwack.

Chilliwack RCMP say they haven’t issued a press release about Stewart’s disappearance, but are keeping tabs on the situation.

“The RCMP is actively pursuing leads and the media team is assisting and monitoring,” Corporal Martin Godard said Friday afternoon at 2:26 p.m.
