Shots fired at Abbotsford home early Sunday morning

ABBOTSFORD – Police in Abbotsford are investigating an incident of shots fired at an Abbotsford residence over the weekend.

The Abbotsford PD says patrol officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 2100 block of Enderby Street at approximately 1:09 a.m. Sunday morning. On arrival, officers determined that an occupied residence had been struck by gun fire. The residents who were asleep at the time of the incident were not injured.

The investigation has been taken over by AbbyPD’s Major Crime Unit, which is actively working to determine the circumstances and motive behind the shooting. At this stage, investigators do not believe the incident is connected to extortion-related violence.
