E-dirt bike scofflaw issued fines worth hundreds of dollars after traffic stop by Chilliwack RCMP
CHILLIWACK – The operator of an electronic dirt bike faces hundreds of dollars in fines after a recent traffic stop and inspection by police in Chilliwack.
Police in Chilliwack say they recently stopped an E-dirt bike on Promontory Road. RCMP personnel say an inspection determined the bike could potentially reach speeds of up to 72 km/hr.
The bike was also being operated without valid insurance, and the rider did not possess a valid driver’s licence.
Police provided a picture of a tow truck near the electronic dirt bike on Promontory Road near Base 10, signalling that the vehicle was towed.
