$300K donation supports new caregiver programs in Fraser Valley

CHILLIWACK — Family caregivers throughout the region may soon get better support thanks to a generous donation to the Fraser Valley Health Care Foundation.

Petro-Canada has allocated $300,000 to help expand caregiver resources in Chilliwack, Abbotsford, Mission, Hope, and Agassiz-Harrison Hot Springs.

“Family caregivers are often the invisible backbone of our healthcare system,” said FVHCF Executive Director Liz Harris. 

“This funding allows us to work alongside Fraser Health Authority and community partners to provide meaningful, practical and compassionate support to caregivers who are too often navigating these challenges alone.”
