CHILLIWACK – Chilliwack’s newest grocery store has announced its opening date.

Nature’s Fare Markets posted to social media yesterday that it will open on Thursday, July 9 at 101-46183 Thomas Road, near the corner of Promontory Road and Thomas Road.

The Chilliwack location will be the company’s largest.

“As our largest store yet, it brings together everything you love about Nature’s Fare Markets—and more. Explore the large Bistro with features like a fresh bar and warm baked cookies, a large grocery and wellness selection, and—for the first time ever—an in-store Pure Integrative Pharmacy. We can’t wait to welcome you in,” the company wrote online.

Nature’s Fare Markets says their Chilliwack store will offer the following:

  • A Wellness department with premium vitamins, supplements and a beautiful range of natural body care, skincare and makeup.
  • Certified organic produce with fruits and vegetables from dozens of BC growers.
  • Premium meats and dairy—pasture animals range freely and poultry is always cage free. No hormones or chemical feed additives. Ever.
  • Better-for-you grocery staples and pantry favourites, free from artificial colours and flavours.
  • A Bistro with delicious bowls, made-to-order sandwiches, soups and build-your-own salads from our Fresh Bar—all made with fresh, organic produce.
  • A knowledgeable, welcoming team—the personalized support we’re known for.
  • A Pure Integrative Pharmacy offering trusted pharmacy care alongside natural health solutions.

Back in February, the company began accepting applications for a number of positions. According to its website, Nature’s Fare Markets began accepting applications for an assistant store manager, food services department manager, pharmacist, pharmacy manager, store team leader, and store team members.

As of February 2026, store team members are paid $18.25 an hour to $19.50 an hour with benefits like a discount on groceries of up to 25 per cent, and an educational allowance. The B.C. minimum wage is now $18.25/hour as of June 1, 2026.
