Another area showed 4,087 customers without power based on its area (east and south of Yale Road, west of Ford Road, and north of Prairie Central Road).

The third outage impacted 2,464 customers (east of Cartmell Road, west of Chapman Road, and north of Banford Road).

Altogether, 9439 customers lost power briefly, but that outage appears to be over now.

BC Hydro spokesperson Mora Scott told Fraser Valley Today the following: “Hi Mike – it’s still under investigation but it looks like power should be back on soon – 6 p.m.”

There’s a major power outage over in Maple Ridge Saturday evening affected 2,229 customers. The affected areas include south of 112 Avenue, east of 240 Street and north of Lougheed Highway, as well as west of Ferguson Avenue, north of 104 Avenue, east of 113 Avenue and south of Dewdney Trunk Road.
