ABBOTSFORD — An Abbotsford man has been arrested after police found him with over 100 grams of drugs and other paraphernalia Friday morning, just after 10 a.m.

Patrol officers in the 2300 block of McCallum Road spotted the man, who was known to police, and conducted a search.

The search revealed that the man had more than 120 grams of fentanyl, cocaine and methamphetamine, as well as a scale, a baton and cash.

He was then arrested for drug trafficking.

This comes only a couple of days after police conducting proactive patrols also found over 100 grams of drugs, including fentanyl, on a 48-year-old woman in the 32400 block of South Fraser Way.

“AbbyPD continues to hear and understand the community’s concerns regarding drug use and drug trafficking in our city,” said the Abbotsford Police Department. “Enforcement actions like this are a direct result of proactive patrols and ongoing efforts to disrupt those who profit from the sale of dangerous substances.”
