Police execute search warrant at Keith Wilson Road property in Chilliwack

CHILLIWACK – Federal law enforcement members executed a search warrant at a rural Chilliwack home this past week, but they aren’t providing any additional information at this time.

RCMP spokesperson Corporal James Bennett Fraser Valley Today in a brief statement that the RCMP Federal Policing Pacific Region (FPPR) Drugs and Organized Crime Section executed a search warrant in the 41700 block of Keith Wilson Road in Chilliwack.

Corporal Bennett says the RCMP FPPR Clandestine Laboratory Enforcement and Response Team (CLEAR) assisted out of an abundance of caution. 

“No additional details will be provided at this time,” said Corporal Bennett, who is assigned to the RCMP Federal Policing Pacific Region.

Two RCMP units were stationed Sunday night at the property, located at 41750 Keith Wilson Road Sunday night, just east of the Keith Wilson Bridge. A sign at the property indicated, “RCMP Federal. Clandestine Laboratory Team. Authorized personnel only beyond this point.”

On Friday, May 1, people reported in a Fraser Valley Facebook group that the Keith Wilson Bridge had been briefly blocked Friday afternoon due to a police presence in the area. Emergency Response Team members reportedly attended, and Keith Wilson Road was later reopened Friday afternoon.
