Chilliwack pet food society marks one year of service helping local pet owners in need, plans upcoming fundraiser
CHILLIWACK — A Chilliwack pet food society is marking its first year of service helping local pet owners in need, and hopes to help even more Chilliwack-area pets in 2026 through a fundraiser this spring.
Zoey’s Pawsome Pets Society, based in Chilliwack and blessed with a dedicated roster of volunteers who supply 500 pets a month with essential supplies, celebrated its one-year anniversary on Thursday, January 15.

From its inception, the group says it’s gotten a ton of support from businesses in Chilliwack and throughout the Lower Mainland, making their mission possible. As volunteer Julie Chadwick tells Fraser Valley Today, even more businesses are stepping forward to support their cause. For example, they’ve received support from Dysktra Kitchen Reface Solutions, Jeff Lindhout at Valley Power Sweep and Emil Anderson Group.
