Lottery player in Agassiz bags $1M prize

AGASSIZ — An Agassiz lottery ticket holder just won a windfall from one of this week’s Lotto 6/49 draws.

The BCLC website shows that a white ball drawn for Wednesday’s Lotto 6/49 Gold Ball Jackpot went to one lucky person who bought their ticket in the area, with the winning ticket number being 19425350-01.

Specific retail location and names have not been announced yet.

While the classic Lotto 6/49 ticket offers a $5 million jackpot based on six random numbers drawn, the Gold Ball yields a guaranteed winner of either a $1 million prize or a Gold Ball jackpot of up to $68 million.

Most recently in the region, a Chilliwack resident won $86,453.00 from the draw in late July, and in November 2025, a Rosedale resident also bagged $500,000 from the Lotto Max.
