TSB probes plane accident near Mission in 3rd deployment to B.C. this month
NEAR MISSION, BRITISH COLUMBIA — Canada’s Transportation Safety Board has deployed a team to investigate what it calls a plane accident north of Mission.
A statement from the federal agency says the incident happened Wednesday near Mission, B.C., about 70 kilometres southeast of Vancouver.
The agency says it involved a small aircraft, but released few other details.
According to the PulsePoint app, six BC Emergency Health Services ambulances were notified about an incident near Stave Lake Road in Miracle Valley, located north of Mission. The incident was reported at approximately 10:28 p.m. Ambulances from Abbotsford and Mission were notified, and two air ambulances were notified.
