QUESNEL — Police in British Columbia say a tractor-trailer driver has been charged with impaired driving causing death in a crash involving a motorcyclist last year.

The crash happened July 24, 2025, on Highway 97 near Quesnel, in the Cariboo region.

Police say a Kenworth tractor-trailer collided with a Harley-Davidson motorcycle, killing the 42-year-old man on the motorbike who was from Chemainus, on Vancouver Island.
