3 barns destroyed by fire Thursday in rural Abbotsford

ABBOTSFORD – A spokesperson for the Abbotsford Police Department says firefighters were called to a major fire at a farm property in rural Abbotsford Thursday afternoon.

AbbyPD spokesperson Sgt. Paul Walker tells Fraser Valley Today that three barns were fully destroyed at 600 Gladwin Road, located southeast of Abbotsford International Airport. Sgt. Walker attended the scene and provided pictures to Fraser Valley Today.

The Gladwin Road farm is about 1 km north of the U.S.-Canada border.
