Abbotsford police arrest drunk driver in stolen car Sunday morning
ABBOTSFORD — Proactive patrols have led to a double-whammy arrest in Abbotsford Sunday morning (May 17).
Just before 11 a.m., AbbyPD patrol officers pulled up to Immel Plaza and made an arrest when plainclothes officers spotted a stolen vehicle in the area.
Police took the individual into custody when he left the vehicle, and further investigation revealed that the man was not only driving a stolen car– he was also driving drunk.
“This incident reflects the importance of proactive policing and ongoing vigilance within the community,” said Abbotsford Police. “AbbyPD continues to focus on identifying criminal activity and taking enforcement action to enhance public safety across Abbotsford.”
