Chilliwack RCMP investigating fire near Ryder Lake

CHILLIWACK — Mounties are investigating a house fire along the Bench Forest Service Road near Ryder Lake, just southeast of Chilliwack on Tuesday (March 31).
In a news release RCMP say they received a report of a fire at 10:22 p.m. Police arrived and spoke with a woman who reported she was in a home on the property and heard a disturbance outside. A short time later she spotted a fire at an adjacent building on the property.
Police say the Ryder Lake Fire Department was called out and doused the flames.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
