Chilliwack RCMP hunt for wanted man

CHILLIWACK — Mounties in Chilliwack are asking for the public’s help in locating a wanted 65-year-old man.

Rodney Starke is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for being unlawfully at large. He was last seen on Wednesday (April 1) wearing a black jacket and blue jeans.

Starke is serving a 10-year long-term Supervision Order after being convicted of a number of crimes including Aggravated Assault, Assault with a Weapon, Forcible Confinement, Identity Theft, Identity Fraud with Intent to Obtain Property and failing to comply with an Undertaking.

Starke is a Caucasian man. He is 6’0” and weighs 200 lbs.  He is bald with hazel eyes.

He has ties to the Chilliwack area and may be attempting to travel to Alberta.  Police believe he has limited financial means and may be seeking assistance from the public.
