Pedestrian suffers life-threatening injuries in Abbotsford after being hit by vehicle
ABBOTSFORD – Police in Abbotsford say a primary road has been closed after a pedestrian sustained life-threatening injuries from being struck by a vehicle overnight.
According to a statement from police, South Fraser Way has been closed in both directions between McCallum Road and Bourquin Crescent East due to a serious collision involving a pedestrian.
The Abbotsford Police Department says the driver of the vehicle remained on scene and is cooperating with the police-led investigation.
The pedestrian sustained serious, life-threatening injuries and has been transported to hospital.
