CHILLIWACK — Spring is set to bloom with vivid flora in Chilliwack as the Botanica Flower Festival returns for its 2026 season.

The farm is gearing up to showcase roughly 1.4 million tulips across its 14-acre grounds, including more than 250,000 hand-planted bulbs and over 90 types of tulips and spring flowers.

Its reopening follows two years of abrupt closures due to weather-related damages, and the festival is looking to return with a bouquet of new experiences.

“We love creating a place where people can slow down and enjoy the beauty of spring together,” said Jen Giesbrecht, co-owner and co-operator of Botanica Flower Festivals and Farm. “With new events, collaborative installations, and millions of blooms, this season is shaping up to be our most exciting yet.”

On April 19 and April 26, visitors are invited to start their morning with Petals and Pilates from 10 a.m. to noon, then head off to the festival’s Petals and Pints event until 4 p.m.

Guests can also shop at Petals and Provisions on April 18 and April 25, a farm market featuring more than 20 local vendors, and visit the new Community Quilt installation.

The Quilt is a 1,600-square-foot installation made from squares planted by participating local businesses and organizations, creating a “large-scale floral artwork that celebrates creativity, collaboration, and the Fraser Valley community”.

The Botanica Flower Festival is set to be held from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. in April, on an undetermined date. More information and updates will be available through the event’s website.
