CHILLIWACK — A patient was airlifted to hospital after a motor vehicle incident near Eastern Hillsides in Chilliwack Sunday afternoon.

According to an emailed statement from B.C. Emergency Health Services spokesperson Diana Stepczuk, paramedics responded to a call about a vehicle incident at Upper Prairie Road and Hinckley Road Sunday afternoon at 1:45 p.m.

“Four ambulances and a helicopter were dispatched. One patient was treated at the scene and was transported to hospital by helicopter,” Stepczuk said.

The details of the crash haven’t been confirmed by police, although an emergency services scanner account on X/Twitter suggested the incident involved a rollover and a 48-year-old old male. Again, Chilliwack RCMP have not confirmed this.
