LANGLEY — No one was hurt at a Langley house fire that prompted a response from police, fire crews and FortisBC early this morning.

At around 7:29 a.m., Langley RCMP officers and first responders from the Township of Langley Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 24281 Fraser Highway today and found a structure that was fully engulfed in flames.

“Fortunately, there were no injuries reported,” said Sergeant Zynal Sharoom of the Langley RCMP. “We continue to work in partnership with the Township of Langley Fire Department to determine the cause of this fire.”

Scanner traffic later reported FortisBC on site up to an hour after the incident. No gas issues were found at the “abandoned” house, as per the fire department.
