Mountie taken to hospital after rollover while responding to a call in Langley: B.C. RCMP

LANGLEY – A member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in the Fraser Valley has been transported to hospital after suffering injuries from a police vehicle rollover near 208 Street and 74B Avenue Thursday afternoon.

According to a statement from B.C. RCMP spokesperson Corporal Brett Urano, a police vehicle rolled over while responding to a call at approximately 4:50 p.m. on Thursday (Mar. 5).

Corporal Urano says the officer suffered injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment, but is said to be in stable condition.

First responders are on scene and traffic in the area is significantly impacted.

Motorists are asked to use alternate routes while investigators work to determine the cause of the collision. Anyone who witnessed the incident or has dash‑cam footage from the area around the time of the collision is asked to contact the Langley RCMP.
