Canada’s mixed diving team captures bronze medal at Montréal World Cup
MONTREAL — Canada’s mixed diving team captured a bronze medal at Montréal World Cup on Friday night.
Mia Vallée, Nathan Zsombor-Murray, Katelyn Fung and Matt Cullen were third with 448.80 points.
But it came down to the team’s final dive in the 10-metre synchro. Fung and Cullen scored 76.80 to all but secure a medal for Canada with 448.80 points overall.
“It was stressful,” Cullen said. “We had the last word and that put a little pressure on Katelyn and me.
