New Chilliwack retail store under construction gears up for spring opening

CHILLIWACK – As construction activities continue on its interior, a retail franchise that purchases and sells gently used attire, shoes and accessories is moving closer to its opening in Chilliwack this spring.

According to its social media channels, interviews are set to begin soon for job openings at Plato’s Closet, which will be located at 2-45676 Yale Road in Chilliwack, next door to OK Tire.

The company wrote on social media that training for new employees will begin on Monday, March 9.

Evening and weekend availability is required for prospective candidates as the company looks to hire part-time employees.

“We’re officially hiring for our team at Plato’s Closet Chilliwack – and we’re looking for confident, style-obsessed, high energy people,” the company wrote on Instagram. “Love trending styles? Love secondhand? Love fast-paced, team-driven environments? You’ll fit right in. Training begins March 9.”

The company posted on Instagram that the multi-coloured walls and carpet had been removed. As of February 9, interior contractors were prepping for paint and getting electrical installed.
