Parr Road Green Depot to open on Sundays starting March 1

CHILLIWACK — Chilliwack’s one-stop drop-off shop for yard waste will soon be adding more hours in time for spring cleaning. 

Starting March 1, the Parr Road Green Depot will be open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The depot accepts clean wood and yard waste, including clean soil, invasive plants and tree trimmings with diameters over 360 millimetres.

Disposal fees start at $52 per tonne.

Soil products are also available for sale at the green hub, with products ranging from turf blend and lawn top dressing to aged and bright bark mulch.
